The location

Dragon Farm is located on a quiet country road in the Southern Highland of NSW. Wildes Meadow is a hidden gem that feels a world  away from the many weekend visitors filling the streets of Bowral and Berrima. The country side and villages in the area have an English feel and Burrawang's general store, pub and the Old School House take you back in time to when life was slower. 

Minutes from Burrawang

Our farm is located just five short minutes drive to Burranwang village, one of the most pictureseque and quaint villages in the Southern Highlands, and home to the famous Burrawang pub. The "Burra" is known amongst locals and tourists for its relaxed atmosphere and with views over the lush green Highlands.  If you are visiting in winter don't forget to reserve the cozy couches by the fireplace! Burrawang is a secluded and tranquil village within 20 kilometres of beautiful Bowral. 

Bowral and the Southern Highlands

Bowral and the Southern Highlands are just 90 minutes drive from Sydney, and 2 hours from Canberra. It is a popular destination for visitors who want to stroll the quaint villages, browse the boutiques. There are numerous acclaimed restaurants and cafes scattered through the region, perfect to relax and unwind and experience a taste of country living. 

The natural wonders

From a picnic at Nellie's Glen to the breath taking vistas of Mount Gibraltor, the Highlands is a nature lovers wonderland. Locals love the bushwalking trails and historic village walks. Don't miss Fitzroy Falls and the magical Glow Worm Glen located in the Morton National park!

Vineyard

Visit the local wineries

The are over 60 vineyards in peppered throughout the Southern Highlands. The region has grown a reputation for viticulture since the opeingin of its first vineyard in 1980. Mild summers and cool, crisp winters make it perfect for chardonnnay, reisling, savignon blanc and cabernat savignon. The red wines being produced are light to medium bodied, with notes of berries. Whether you fancy visiting the cellar doors for tasting, or a long lazy lunch you will be spoiled for choice!
